Opening Statement
The R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home is a Long-Term Care Home to 136 Residents and employs approx. 250 staff in various Departments.

Qualifications required – LPN at an accredited School/College of nursing. Current license with the CLPNS (College of License Practical Nurses of NS). Minimum of 1-year experience with Medication Administration. Recent experience in geriatric setting preferred. Recent experience as Team Lead or Supervisor of CCA staff/equivalent preferred. Current CPR certification required with annual updates and annual WHMIS required. Regular and consistent attendance is essential.
Hours of Work (Subject to change)
Shifts for these positions are preset in a schedule to provide coverage for FT rotations (24 hrs. x 7 days a week).
.- Days and Nights and weekends (12 hr shifts 7am-7 pm and 7pm-7am)
Salary: $28.3210-31.4807 hr. (based on Union Contract Scale and on experience) – Paid Breaks
